Hailing from "the 6ix" aka Toronto, Canada, I grew up in an uncommonly musical household. My father is the multi-award winning jazz monster and TV composer Tom Szczesniak who's works include full underscore credits for the animated TV series' "Tin-Tin", "Beetlejuice", "Franklin the Turtle" and many more. My mother Lois is a concert pianist and my brother Stephan is a drum god. I have composed countless works for reality TV programs and animated shows and in 2018 I was nominated for best music score for my work on the Nelvana/Nickelodeon kids show "Mysticons". In November 2020 I finished scoring the upcoming Nickelodeon/Dark Slope Studios kids tv show "Barley & Tabby". As a guitarist, my work can be heard on Sony recording artist's Celine Dion's 2002 Diamond awarded release "A New Day" and legendary Canadian alt rock band "I Mother Earth" vocalist Edwin's 1999 solo release "Another Spin Around the Sun" which received a Juno award nomination for "Rock Album of the Year". I also just happen to be a Wheel of Time super fan and I have created a collection of 41 thematic sketches inspired by what I think is the greatest fantasy series of all time and I would like to share them with you. The series came to me at a very important time in my life back in the early 90's and was instrumental in shaping who I have become both as a human being and as a producer of music, fueling my love for the devices of imagination and my passion for good storytelling.
