Advice from Jerk@wheeloftimemusic

Here I am @1:24 at the 2018 Canadian Screen Awards (with fellow Canadian Composer John Welsman) as a nominee for "Best Original Music, Animation" for my work on the Nickelodeon TV show "Mysticons". Not too sure what I was thinking, but I do believe quite firmly in the study and discipline required to become proficient on a musical instrument. The industry is filled with people that just don't know or appear to actually care and everything just sounds the same to me now. When I am trying to create something truly unique and special to me, I try and inject some "wood" whenever I can. You can program and type all you want but real music comes from real people playing real instruments IMHO - So there! rock on wheeloftimemusic.com
